Howdy All:
All exhasut manifolds are interchangeable. But, there are differences that matter.
FYI 1960 - '62- Manifolds have a flat gasket between the outlet and the head pipe. They have a 1 3/4" outlet. They are lighter and prone to crack.
'63 - '68 - Manifolds from this point on have a donut type gasket between the outlet and the head pipe. They have a 2" outlet. They are heavier and have more material and gusseting in weak areas.
'69 and later- Same dimensions and strength, but all have more bulges and taps for emmissions stuff. Some in the 80s are the type with the quick light cat attached directly to the manifold.
We prefer the '67 - '68 era because they are strong, have good dimensions and are clean of bulges and taps.
Larry- Are you looking for one that you can hook up all of the '83 emmissions stuff?
Adios, David
