Do 200/250 exhaust manifolds flow differently over the years?

In 67 Ford put a 2in headpipe on AT 200 Mustangs, but only a 1 3/4in headpipe on the MT 200 Mustangs.

Is the exhaust manifold the same on both?

Does a later 200 manifold or 250 manifold flow better than a earlier 200 manifold?

I dont want headers, but do want the best flowing system that I can get useing oem parts.

Howdy back:

The simple answer is that performance wise they're all about the same; 2" outlet for a firewall connection to the head pipe. the "68 model year was cast heavier and less prone to cracking. The later years had more bungs and taps cast into them that may disrupt air flow. NO measurable differences between 200 and 250 casting except for emissions bungs and taps. All in all, whatever you use make sure it is crack free before you start to open the ports into in and open the outlet to a full 2'' above the firewall landing. Then use a 2" system all the way back.
