All Small Six FINALLY GOT MY AUSSIE 2V BUILD HOME

I dropped off my Aussie 250-2V head and ten year old Craigslist Rebuilt 200 Block back in March 19th and just today it back today …. 7-19 ! I got some work to do still !!!

Well bubba , first They got the block disassembled , they showed me the main bearings ,and the rings apparetlly the motor was rotated with dry lube . Had to replace them .I Did not want to take a chance trying to use them after ten years of sitting . Then Hot Tanked , rehoned it , ordered those parts. Then, the adjustable rocker shaft , it was all toast ! Sent that to Rocker Arms Unlimited . Had to wait two months for that and they put the oiling stand on the wrong end of the shaft. Then reassemble …. Not so fast ( They did not want to use stock Bolts ) … had too order ARP Head Bolts , lifters , and Push rods . Finnally Assembly .

Hey Guys , I have started to strip the block paint down . What is a really good prep or cleaner to use on the block after I have got the paint off ?

Lacquer thinner, brake cleaner. Then primer it so rust will not start.

This is the US 200 Head on my 1969 Falcon . Do you see how all of the heads hang off over the block some ?

The Aussie 250 2V needs nothing to bolt up to US block 200 or 250 . The X-Flow 250 is a different story !!

What does it need to go forward is More Money !!!! First find a Shop to do the swap ! Second More Money for Exhaust , Stall Converter , and Transmission Rebuild

Oh, I thought you might say, ya know...head studs/bolts standard size; Oz only v/c (& gasket), usa carb plate to Oz seperate intake; and so forth. The shop will tell you...
