Fram Oil Filters

I think thinner oil would be best, I'm avoiding synthetic oil though since my engines so old and I'm afraid she would drink the synthetic oil with gas when running :rolflmao:
I'm running Valvoline 20W50 VR1 in my new engine. It was recomended by the cam manufacturer and has the zinc you need. Not saying it's right, just what was recomended. You think 50W is too heavy, but thats just at high temp. Cold it's 20W. Now if I was in a really cold climate, it may make a diff. on startup.
 
20 w-50 or whatever. low number is eqv viscosity flow properties at cold temp. High number is eqv viscosity flow properties when hot. Actual viscosity is neither.
