What, if anything is the difference between a 200 and a 250 harmonic balancer? I am having a pulley alignment problem. With balancer seated properly, the water pump pulley does not align with the balancer. Any suggestions?

A 250 balancer is appreciably larger. Alignment issues are best cured by grabbing the pulley set off one motor, rather than "mixing and matching". That aside, you may find more variation w/in water pump pulleys to allow a decent compromise.

Adam.

The US250 crank snout is larger that the us 200 so it would not be properly seated on a US200 crank. The US200 balancer would not even fit over the end of a US250 crank.

The Oz 250 and the US 200 have the same size crank snout. You could concievably use a US200 balancer on an Oz 250 engine as an underdrive.
