My car seems to be run like it has no power. It take quite a while for it catch up to speed. Any ideas why.

Maybe a slipping clutch?

Any other symptoms?

Clutch was change like two months ago. Its just slow acceleration. I can be giving it gas and cars are still flying by me.

If you have a timing light, check your advance, both vacuum and mechanical, to make sure they are functioning properly.

The funny thing is that it does sometimes and sometimes it does at all or If am driving for a like 20 mins it will start to run like it has no power. I will check the timing.

Make sure the choke is opening completely and or not getting stuck closed.

It looks like the wire connector to the electric choke was barely making contact in the wire connector. So I put a new wire connector on it and everything seems to be fine. I will keep u update if it happens again. Thanks
