holly 1946 feedback carburetor

I have a holly 1946 carburetor that came in a box of stuff I bought. It looks to be a 1979 to 1983 feedback carburetor, can this be used on a 60s inline or is the feedback a problem? It appears to be a fresh reman with the tag still on it.

What might be a problem is the orientation of the carb.
It is designed for a cable throttle coming across the valve cover.

You would need to install the wire harness and control box, for it to work correctly and it may need a different ignition setup.too.

I'm not going to do all that, to bad I open it up and look inside it hasn't even had any gas in it.
