:?: [/b]Hey everyone!! I'm new to the site and hope someone can help. I'm currently setting up my Sprint 200 with a Holley rebuilt Autolite 2100 2BBL carb with the clifford adapter. My mechanic and I have ran into a question about the linkage. has anyone ever modified the linkage on the 200 for the carb or went to a different cable set-up altogether. I really would like to keep my orginal set-up on the linkage with just a few modifications to it. If anyone knows or has done this type of mod please LMK. any help would be appreciated(pics would be great also)...thanks

Theres 3 ways you can do it,

1.) Use the Lokar cables like Slade said.
2.) Use a 92 Ford F-150 fuel injected 300 6 throttle cable & a 86 (or equivalant) Mustang gas pedal. Fairmont, granada, F-150, etc gas pedal should also work.
3.) Extend the stock rod like I did shown below,

The stock rod is extended with some electrical conduit and the return spring kit is a summit holley return spring kit. You can also order the little heim joints for the linkage from summit also.

I've used both setups and the cable linkage is a lot better IMO!!
