How To: Custom Engine Mounts????

What is involved in making engine mounts? Do you just hang the new engine you wanna fit in the bay on the crane, get the engine rake right then measure and make em? Or is it more of a science? What rules and regs are required in NSW

if you are doing any engine swap then position it the weld up a cross member or supports with plate closes to the engine so you can bolt the stock mounts to it
if you are looking to make hard mounts which should be race only then there are lots of different ways to do it just use your imagination and weld it up good luck

8) there are a number of ways to make engine mounts. one way uses the front leaf spring bushing in a metal tube that is welded to the chassis on a pair of legs. the engine the uses a custom mount that the bolts to the chassis mount with a through bolt. you can also use the rubber biscuits that ford used on the flathead engine. best to find a book on engine swapping and you can the see how the pros do it.
