how to install heat tube?

So I have the headers and new exhaust all hooked up.just need to hook up the choke heat tube. so it connects to the carb where the old line was ,runs down and around a header pipe with hose clamp attached ,that's right so far.then-----does the other end of the line go up to the air cleaner ??pics anyone ??thanks

Right one end to the Auto choke body the other end coiled around a header tub 2 or 3 times, that's it and your all done. There would not be another end to hook up its open so it can draw air in.

Yeah, no attachment on the header side, just open to the air. I used one of these Dorman 55111 kits, but it's the same thing as just wrapping it around the header.

The hardware that came with it was pretty cheap, specifically I replaced the tube sleeve with a nicer one that I got from somewhere I don't remember. But the sleeve isn't that important, just protects humans and maybe rubber vacuum lines, if any are around.
