I have absolutely no idea if this would work or if its practicle or anything, but has anyone thought of taking a turbo and making a mount for a carb where u normally put the air filter on the turbo? then it theoretically it could suck the fuel out and i dont think u need to wirry too much about the carb except maybe replacing the float and making sure your running rich enough to compensate for boost or whatever....does it sound like it could work? anything good able to come from it?

like this ?

haha...cr@p...i have heard lots about draw through and blow through but never really knew much about what the draw through was, lol, ok...so I know now for sure, well thanks guys cause that sure helps alot. haha...i cant believe i thought it was origional  is that a chevy inline? its awesome

I'm thinking about adding a turbo to my 200. What is better, a draw-through or bow-through setup? The draw-through seems fairly straight forward.

Sort of stock. It's that carby AIT (Adavnced Induction Technology) turbo made by David Ingalls company from 1984 to 1988. It used two Zenith/Bendix/Stromberg CD 175's, and gave out about 220 hp. The EFI version gave out about 255 hp or so.

It's in the 1985 XF Ford Falcon. The same X-body chassis frame as your Monarch, similar 250 engine block.

250 eh? weird...i never seen one with the intake on the drivers side...really awesome.can u still buy that setup without the turbo and just attach it to whatever turbo u can find?
