You don't need to. Plenty of people fab up tubular turbo headers. As long as the lengths are short as possible, and the flow unconflicting, it will work OK. Cast turbo headers are a pretty snazzy piece of pattern and casting work, so the price would be high.TheDude":106irj0u said:Why must you keep the stock exhaust when turbocharging a 6?

I am curious to know which MSD ignition controller you used, I cant quite make out the model.. How do you compensate timing during boost? I saw some of the more expensive MSD units have built in vacuum connections to take care of that stuff for you. But the 'entry level' 6a is still 150$ and is about as high as my budget goes for something like that.
