Its Alive!

i got it to fire up today, it has a very rough idle rite now but it should smooth out after i adjust the valves and tune the carb, the old head was in rough shape, most of the valves were sunk, this new head has way more compression, its very hard to turn over, i think its going to be a monster since the car was already fast with the messed up head

it only has the single 2barrel on it rite now, i still have alot of tuning to do, i think i need to use different sparkplugs too, the ones i have on it are way to cold

Two ranges colder than stock is a good place to start for performance use

i like the autolites i used to use, i forgot what they were, i got some champion plugs that were close to what i like, its running soooo smooth now, but still needs alot of tuning to get it fast, i found that the temp sensor is different then the 200's, will a 302 sensor fit the 250 head?

The old (stock) Autolite number was BF82 you might be able to cross reference from that. Autolite / Motorcraft is all I use in them. Can you use a bushing to fit it? Senders are gauge specific many years use same part number

Should be a standard Iron Pipe thread from hardware or home dump
