Hey all. I need some of your wisdom. I've got a thwumping sounds coming from the Mustang. The brakes are working fine, the drive shaft is intact as well as the U-joint. There is nothing wrapped around the driveshaft either. When the car moves forward there is a thwump that occures repeatedly, it sounds as if something is wrapped around the driveshaft but that is not the case. The clutch engages correctly and the tranny seems to be fine (there is a bit of a whine in the tranny but it shifts in and out of the gears just fine-it's a 3-speed manual). Any ideas? Motor Mounts? Clutch Noise? Suspension? I am open to hear your thoughts.
Thanks,
Jeff
