Metal vacuum line coming from transmission??

Does the metal vaccum line coming from the transmission go into the port on the side of the intake manifold, or does it go on the side of the carburetor?

Transmission line gets manifold vacuum. Its possible to have a manifold vac port on the carb but typically on the carbs we are dealing with here the ports on the carb are usually ported.

Well, I have a port on the side of the carburetor, and I do not know what goes in it. I also have a port on the side of the intake manifold. What you are saying is to use the port on the intake manifold for the transmission line, right?
