Hi all,
I have been busy in the shed fitting up a turbo to my 250 2v in my 65 xp falcon.

hmm i would post up pics but how the hell do i do it???

Just find a site to host them, then use the Img help function above where you type in your post. I use photobucket and cardomain

manifold and j-pipe

close up of j-pipe

turbo mounted to manifold. not much room.

close up of turbo brace

manifold now on. using a modified 600dp holley. nitrophyl floats, rubber gaskets and nylon bowl screw washers.
VERY TIGHT FIT - lots of skinned knuckles and swearing

That turbo is tiny - - what is it off of?

Is it going to be large enough that it won't choke the engine???

i was getting 10-12psi of pressure before i blew the head gasket (bad detonation) with stock 2v compression ratio. i have now decompressed it 2.8mm and figure on around 7.6-7.8cr.
it doesnt seem to have a problem making power anyway

had to space the alternator out from the block for air cleaner clearance

boost referenced fuel pump works a treat, thanks to Does10s and Linc200 for their helpful advice a month ago.
