Need a new carb; rebuild impossible

I have a Holley 1904 with manual choke on my 1962 econoline (falcon club wagon actually) with a 144 engine. Unfortunately, the screw hole on the body of the carb cracked and the bowl cover will no longer seal correctly. I have been searching for months for another 1904 that will work but no luck. Is there anything else that will work without too much work (i.e. not changing distributor or messing with linkage too much).
This is bumming me out. I wanna drive again.

Howdy Back:

The 144 used two different carbs during its production run. The #1908 (The 1904 and the 1908 are basically the same carb) was listed from 1960 - 1962. The Autolite 1100 was listed 63 & 64 model years. Both have a SCV and are compatible with the stock Load-O-Matic distributor. Linkage should be a match. You may have to reroute fuel lines and/or adapt air cleaner mount. both are rated at 130 cfm. The 170 engine got basically the same 1908 in '61 & '62 and 1100 from '62 to '64 1/2 but with a 150 cfm for more power.

Any should be a reasonable option without too much trouble.

Adios, David
