tri-power 250

Today I went out to drive the Maverick around. It started great, idled fine....then the problems begin. The car pulled a hill as if it didn't have any power, so I turned around and went back home. I pulled the air cleaner to see the squirter dripping into the carb. I took it off to see if the needle was still there, and it was. So I cleaned up the gas and started the engine again, it started a little hard, but started. I again looked in the carb, while the engine was running and again the squirter was dripping fuel into the carb, (again while the engine was running). I'm thinking I do not know how to adjust the accelerator pump arm.Can someone tell me how to do this. If that's not it, I'm going to take the bowl off again, ~50th time and check the accelerator pump. I'll probably have to change the inserts again. I don't think Holley intended there carb to be taken apart countless times in one weekend!
Thanks,
Ken
