Okay, I've had enough of these 1100's! I want to get a new 1 bbl carb and have heard good things about the bolt on replacement that Weber makes for our engines. Where is the best place to get them? Awhile back somebody posted a link to a website but I lost it. Any advice would be helpfull- thanks!

Call and ask to speak with Tom (he's the owner). Great guy and very helpful.

You'll need to order the 2 to 1 adapter and a rebuilt Weber carburetor from him. As far as linkage, you need to fabricate one yourself but there are many people who have done this, including myself, that can help with this upgrade.

Sorry - I left out that I want to use a one barrel carb. I don't want to deal with making custom linkage and such- I want a new carb to bolt on in place of my original 1100.

My old Clifford catalog from 2000 list's the Weber ICH one barrel, but it's only rated at 150 cfm and is intended for multi carb use. I want one intended to run alone- I think factory rating for our engines is about 180 cfm, right?

Oh...yes factory our one barrel are rated between 167-185 CFM, IIRC.
