oil from breather

I never had a problem losing oil from the breather with the factory valve cover(breather at front)As soon as I put the aftermarket chrome one on(breather at rear)It wants to pee oil all over the place. It has a baffle, but I'm doubting the design of it. I don't have a pcv hooked up, but am thinking of it. I also think maybe I may plug the rear opening and use a twist in breather in the fill plug instead. I highly doubt a ring problem at this point as it was directly related to the change(no oil fouling)-any thoughts?

sounds like the valve cover is causing it
but if you hooked up a PCV, that might fix it, i say its worth a try

you might try a breather in both holes and if only the rear one leaks oil, then plug it and use only the front one

PCV valve was sized to limit the amount of crankcase fumes the carb could pull in. So the PCV valve should help to some extent. Were you running a PCV valve with the old valve cover?

I eliminated the pcv with the tri power, but had the hole plugged with the pcv and a crimped hose.
