here i go ,

question 1 :
did swap from 4 lug to 5 lug with a orginal 5 lug spindel . my power steering outer tie rod from the 6 cyl did bolt wright onto the spindel, is this correct?
i want to order some new outer tie rods for my R/P setup .
question 2 :
i wil be needing tie rods with tread inside , not outside, but with the same conish diameter like the one,s i got now . these are now from 10/ 12 [ conish ]the one i did buy is from 12/14 and i dont want to redril the spindel with 12/14 conish dril !

some one understand what im talking here  ore must i put up a sample draw ?

I think I got what you are talking about.
The tierods you need (the type that are working for you now) are cone shaped (tapered) from 10mm by the threads up to 12mm near the top.

The new tie rod ends you already bought are tapered from 12mm up to 14mm and (understandably) you do not want to open the hole in the spindle for this larger size.

And you want internally threaded tierods with the same taper (10-12mm) to use with your Rack and Pinion setups..

I think this website has the info you need

This is the outer tie rod end I had to use. It is from a Fiero, 1987 I believe. The tie rod end situation got a bit tricky. The inner tie rods are from a Granada. The Taurus inner tie rods wouldn't work because they were way too long, I even had to shorten the Granada ends by 1 inch on either side for the proper length. The outer tie rods have the correct taper for a stock V8 spindle, yes, I still have four wheel drums. I did have to rethread the outer tie rod ends to fit onto the Granada inners, 9/16's by 18 thread count

good luck,

THX :D great help , just what i,m be looking for , great to have people on this bord for helping out !!!
my friend did dril out the spindels for fitting the tie rods that came with the R/P ... i dont , i want to leave as much as i can orginal for the car . only the adding items i want to make fit to the car .

Which is completely understandable, what if you change you mind later and want the original back (doubtful) you will always have to use either non-stock tie-rods or custom spacers (like MustangSteve units)

Keep us updated on the progress of that install.
Did you ever get that Escort Rack & Pinion that somebody sent you?
