Hi guys! I know I haven't been around the forums for awhile. Haven't had the time to work on the Mustang or do anything for the matter of fact. I've been stuck at work going to job site to job site. These pics are from the engine install months ago. Like I've said earlier, I had the car running but there were some problems. Still haven't been able to buy the roller tipped rockers, but I will soon. At least I got the head back on. The car been sitting in the garage and I want to get her out, but I've been looking at my work schedule and it won't be able to until the New Year's is over with. Oh well, maybe I can afford the rockers by then, you think?

Good to see you drop in again! Quality takes time; no need to rush these things.

thx guys, it took awhile to get all the layers of paint and rust off, but it came through just right. I primed the compartment and then sanded all the surfaces by hand. I think I put 3 coats of semi-gloss black down. Its so smooth now, I can't wait to take it to shows again.

Good looking engine and engine bay Andrew!
Did you get everything straight with your mechanic?

looks great . !!! always good to see a finishing project , and when al is shiny and fitting , it is a plesure to work on ! btw nice looking starter ? chrome ?

The deal with the machinest turned out ok. I had four bent exhaust valve stems. I only had to pay for the new valves. He said it was probably my original rockers, so I'm going to be safe and replace them FSPP roller tipped rockers.

The starter is painted chrome! LOL I used Rustoleum Chrome, but it looks like crap now. I scrached most of the paint off the top of the starter with putting the header on and off, oh well...

Andrew,

It looks great! Thats an inspiration to me because I really want to redo my engine compartment this winter.
