That is puzzling why it changed behaviour overnight. So the car had better acceleration & performance the day before? No work was done on the car from one day to the next?
I guess the accelerator pump could go bad overnight if a piece of debris became stuck in the nozzle.

thats what i found weird i could a sworn it ran better the day before but maybe it was just me i'll let ya know tomarrow when i rebuild the carb.

i got the rebuild kit for my carb today so i tore the carb apart and i was surprised on how simple it was to be rebuild no small bushings or loose small parts anyway the spring that pushes the metering arm back up after it presses the accelerator diaphram had broken in pieces so when the motor was gassed suddenly the metrering arm wouild not rebound fast enough flooding the motor. so problem fixed!

Or a spring break on it. Glad to hear you found the problem. Let's hope that fixes the bog.

took itout for about an hour and no bog so i think the problem is fixed
