I'm alittle lost when it comes to the advantages and/or disadvantages of advancing the timing and using premium fuel to alleviate knocking or predetonation. I would like to know more about this topic and thought I'd ask the professionals.

I know there is a point of depreciation when it comes to timing advancement but when? Say with a stock 200 or 250.

Yes there is a point where teh added performance may not be worth the added cost of fuel. Where that point is? Who knows?

I'd like to see dyno results of a car with 10* ADV versus 20* advance and see the power difference, and see if it is really worth it. Maybe I'll do that when I dyno my car since I can rent the bay for an hour and can play with stuff like that. hmmm... ;)

Adding Premium isn"t always the answer. When the engine is at temp..When you give it gas, you can tell at what speeds you get a rattle sound. As you go up in faster accelerations you can fine tune your dizzy to eliminate the rattle...ZZ
