On my way to school today my 66 mustangs radiator started leaking so I got coolant all over the hood and the car overheated to the point where there was alot of steam coming out :x . A little under two months ago it happen to me also and I had the radiator fixed. Now I'm thinking I should just replace the radiator with a new one instead of paying $30 each time to fix it. But I have no idea which radiator would be best. There are 2 core, 3 core, and 4 core ones for 66/65 200ci. The price difference between them are about $40 apart. There is also one that I remembering seeing in a Mustang Mag that came with an electric fan connected to it. Which would one would be best for my daily driver mustang. The car is mosty stock with me possibly adding dual exhaust and a carb upgrade in the future. Can anyone help me out? Thanks..

Any stock 2 or 3 core radiator will work fine unless you live in an extreme environment, like the SoCal deserts, Arizona, Aussie outback...

However, for really good cooling, get one of these from Speedway for $149:

You'll need to fabricate mounts and maybe use a couple of hose adapters, but the 22" Ford will fit the space in an early stang.
