Okay, as some of you have been following my rebuild questions lately (especially, removal) I thought yesterday about improvements to my 200.
I plan on replacing the pistons rings (that's a given) but that was going to be it as far as touching the bottom end - then I started thinking...hmmmm...what else can I do while I have the pistons pulled and the block exposed? Well, not being very experienced I thought I'd ask the professionals.
What are the differences between the 200 and 250 as far as the lower half of the engine is concerned? Can I put in 250 journels to increase my stroke? Basically, I'm looking for ideas to improve the bottom end to help in creating more torque and horsepower.
