Relay for DUI recomendations

I was looking at the diagram from the Classic Inlines web site ( http://classicinlines.com/DUI_install.asp ) on how to install the DUI on my 66 Mustang w/ a 200 6 cyl.
Just wanted to know which is the best Relay to buy for this application?

Also , the diagram shows me to make a new 12 gauge wire from the positive terminal of the battery to the Relay to power the DUI.

My question is : Can I get power by connecting the new 12 gauge wire to the solinoid switch instead of directly to the positive terminal of the battery or is it a MUST to connect the wire directly to the positive terminal? Thanks in advance.

as for relays, i have had bad results from the cheapo ones intended for automotive use. i have had excelent results with relays i ordered from Grainger industrial supply, which were intended for industrial use.

as for where you hook up the wire, either location is fine, but you need to consider the length of the stud on the solenoid to make sure it can fit another wire, some are a bit short to be adding wires to. but if it'll fit, i say it's better off the solenoid cause there's a lot less chance of corrosion.

8) i tend to prefer bosch relays as they are teh most reliable in my experience. also it specs out a 15amp relay, but i suggest using a 20-30amp relay instead as it will last longer.
