The only one barrels used on the 250 by the FoMoCo factory was the Autolite 1101 in '69, and the Carter RBS from '70 until the demise of the 250 engine size. The early Granadas and Monarch (Maverick and Comet clones) may have used a special version of the Holley #1946. They are rare.
If you don't just have to have a 1, I would think about a weber 32/36 or a Holley 5200 (they are both the exact same carb) - they are a good 2, work great (I have the 32/36 on my i6 200)
