Sending Unit

Anyone have problems with a sending unit in the gas tank of Ford Falcon? Also any suggestions on how to find a catalog for interior parts for 66 Falcon.

I'm just curious- would the sending units for early (60s) Mustangs work in early Falcons & vice-versa? This is assuming they have the same size fuel tanks.
