Smoking and runnin a little rough

As you all might recall, I had the valve seats, guides, seals and exhaust valves replaced on my head a few weeks ago. My Pertronix Ignitor II took a dump on me and I got a new unit. I installed it on Saturday and nothing. So, I put my points back in and gapped them to the specs. Since I got the head back and have been running point (the first time), the car ran smoothly, especially in the lower RPMs, but it smoked. Now that I have put the points back in a second time, the car runs a little rougher in the lower RPMs/tries to stall and still smokes. I checked my oil and it's right on the line. I don't think I am burning oil. The smoke isn't the typical white-ish (burning coolant) or the brown-ish/black (burning oil). It's just gray smoke. I figures the rough running is most likely a timing/tuning issue, could the smoke be tied in to tuning as well?
Again, my oil and coolant levels have been right on the mark since I got the head back and I don't have any excessive blow-by through the breather or PCV.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ted
