Howdy Chaz and All:
The suppression wires have a core of graphite impregnated arrimide fibers (most liekly fiberglass). They have little/no radio interference. They are a good upgrade over stock wires. That is what came on your engine from the factory.
Copper core wires have the least resistance, but don't plan on listening to the radio. Interference is obvious. They are the only way to go for maximum performance.
Spiral core wires are the best of both worlds. Little resistance and no static.
With spark plug wires it's what's on the inside that counts, Color is only cosmetic.
If you can, get a set of custom wires with molded connectors on both ends. There will be less chance of a bad connection as compared to the cut to length universal kits.
