Spark Plugs

I am looking at the Summit catalog and noticing a large variety of spark plugs. I have an 8.5:1 compression 250, with a 2bbl carb, header, CD ignition. Nothing trick, I am looking to make this the most efficient engine I can. Is there such a thing as a spark plug that can help with this quest?
