I don't know if anyone else here has experienced this or not. Could be a fluke or I'm into a good sum of money chrome-moly push rods
Either or, dialed the car in and had a GREAT afternoon with it. Next morning it started and ran like a dog. I figured I filled up with some bad gas the night before but it felt like one or maybe two cylinders were missing. Long story short, spark plugs started to tell the tale, compression gone in one cylinder, pop cover and pushrod slipped out...wait...not slipped out, the cup end SPLIT in half! This is with a 1.6 rocker set on a stock cam, car NEVER sees past 4.5K (I'm a chicken when it comes to throwing money away). Sealed Power push rods that are brand new, think I need to go C_M or just try another replacement one?
The scary part is I can't find the rest of the push rod  I hope it got disentigrated but somehow I feel it didn't.
This is new stuff to me as I've always run hydraulic stuff, ANY advice is going to be greatly appreciated!
