hello i curently own a 200 block that i am going to install a aussie 2v 250 head with a holley 8007 carburator (390 cfm 4 barrel) i was wondering how to go about adapting the throttle linkage to my new carb. and, i know mustangaroo has just installed a 4 barrell and i was wondering how he adapted his throttle linkage. Do i have to go to cable, or can i stick with the rod system? I would like to stick with the rod system? Thank for any imput!

You can always stay with rod linkages (should I say "stick" with rod linkages?) if so desired. But it may require a couple of bellcranks to translate the motion. On each of these, it's necessary to get the in/out proportions right so as not to restrict throttle travel, or induce higher friction/binding.

It will take a little planning, but fab it to look factory and blow people's minds! Tell them it's the model they only built to export Down Under.

Cheers, Adam.
