This weekend I'll be working on my car and was looking for some advice on what I need to do to set the timing correctly. I've mentioned before on the board about my car having a hesitation issue and lack of low end. I recently put a Autolite 4V from pony on it and it helped with the issue but still lacks low end grunt, while still having a slight hesitation. I'm convinced that the issue is associated with the timing. I set the timing with a vacuum gauge and have the vacuum advance plugged into a full manifold source. I was wondering how i set the the mechanical advance and what i should set it at? Any other thoughts or recommendations would be great! I just feel like the car should be a lot faster and respond better than what it is doing right now.
