Torque numbers

What head bolt torque do you use with oiled threads. The torque numbers in my repair manual seem light. I have an 81 200 i6

Stage 1: 50-55ft lbs

Stage 2: 60-65 ft lbs.

Snug the bolts by hand first.

Torque down in a X-pattern starting from the center and radiating out.

one of the things that gets mentioned:
let the bolts settle overnight, do stage 1, then the next day @ the same time, do stage 2, etc.
