Turbo help

OK, I hope to be getting a T3/T4 turbo for my 67 next weekend. I am thinking about getting an intercooler too. What all do I need for the turbo setup? Turbo, piping, carb, nitrophyl float, BOV, wastegate, but what else? I already have a DSII dizzy so what would I need to do to it? Also would it be better to run a 1bbl carb or the 2bbl HW5200 I have on it now?

Check the numerous builds on here as well as turbomustang.com. Its a great resource that has guided me thru my build. You need a good ignition box, im using an MSD 6BTM and like it. Good fuel pump is a MUST as well. Theres quite a bit but its so worth doin. Plan on taking your time and bein smart about it, read all you can, see if you can find some locals that have turbo cars and pick their brains and then ask all you can on here and turbomustang! oh...and take pics for us to see!

8) the first thing you want to do is figure out how you are going to mount the turbo. everything else hinges on that.

the second thing you want to do is decide if you are going to do a blow through or draw through installation. that will determine wether or not to use a blow off valve or not. either way you want a waste gate to control boost pressure. if you do a blow through system, then a blow off valve is used to prevent a myriad of problems.

after that you can decide where the intercooler will go, and then run the piping as needed.

Adapters for turbo oil feed, oil feed line, adapters for turbo oil return, turbo oil return hose, flanges for turbo mounting, flanges for wastegate mounting (if applicable), flange for exhaust exit, flange for BOV, highly recommended: wideband oxygen sensor gauge for tuning,

So where can you get this nitrophyl float for a 1 barrel carb?? I'm having troubles locating one...

8) if mike at classiicinlines.com doesnt have one, check with pony carbs.
