From FullBoost.com.au apparently. I found the pic on another forum, says it comes from the "coming soon" panel but I can't find it now. Anyway enjoy, it's in an XE I believe. NICE!

If more is better, then 466 hp aint barely enough!

in that top piccie what are those wires/piping running from the exhust port area to the radiator hose???? i always thought they where egt probes but now i just dont get it

This is just a guess and I have never even seen one of these in person.

But it looks like there is an area of the chamber that does not get good water flow and these little tubes would help to pull the hot water off.

Gotta keep the chambers cool in a high boost engine.

 JP, I think you've cracked it! I've been pondering them for over a year.

Adam.

Wow! I remember a few of us pondering about those pipes! And now Floridaphatman has given us the answer! It all makes sense now!

Teddy :)

Yeah its the same guy as the silver xe ghia, but thats no longer got the 11sec motor its in a blue xf from thomastown {EZY-10}

Any of you guys have any idea what something like that would cost?
$5,000-7000?

That's got to be the best looking turbo six Ford I've ever seen.

I don't know what it would cost. But I would love to have it in a '32 Roadster with no hood, just to show it off. :D

John

Those pipes are for water injection they spray water into the combustion chamber through valves at the end of those pipe

Water Injection through the exhaust valves????????????????????????

John

the orange pipes on the side are the spark plug leads if thats what you fellas are asking?? :? ???

tho i am not sure if that is what you guys are questioning????

the motor in question is a 2002 model au falcon engine running straight gas and a pair of roller turbo's the au motor dosent run a dizzy it runs 6 coils and each spark plug is fed its spark over the rocker cover

the the aussie ohc six has the spark plugs in right next to the exhaust ports to aid in good even fuel burning

cheers.joe.

nope, with the top pic i think they are talkin 'bout the metal lines that run to the turbos, also check the other picture, the metal lines right next to the spark plugs, i think that's what everyone is concerned with

yeah sorry pplz i realise now what they were asking about  well who feels like a dumb sh!t now huh? lol

and yes Floridaphatman was rite

some ppl do it to the ea-el motors they put a tap in the back of the head and put one of those fittings in place to remove air bubbles/pockets from the coolant passages and to releive the pressure a bit (it helps pevent blown head gaskets and crack cylinder heads apparently)

sorry again fellas.

cheers.joe.

Hi,

Does anyone know what 1/4 mile times it has run yet?

Someone told me they saw it at calder running mid 13s??

Looking at that engine, it should be 10s if not 9s once everthing is sorted!

Bye
