Ever since i got back from my 300 mile round trip to Carlisle, my oil pressure has been low at idle. I don't have a guage, but the light comes on and sometimes the fuel pump dies. it has a 7psi switch. Car still runs smooth and I can't say i hear any funny noises, but I suspect a spun bearing. it was running a little hot on the trip, but not having an accurate guage i can't say how hot. I'm going to drain and strain the oil and see what comes out with it. Any idea on what a fairly straight rebuild might cost? Probably only change the cam and deck the block.
