Vacuum help!

Hi guys,

So i just changed out my carburetor and replaced with a rebuilt one. I have serious issues under acceleration - the car bogs down and almost backfires.

On the old carb, I had the choke wired almost completely shut to compensate for some sort of lack of vacuum. THe distributor was NOT connected to the carb before, nor is it now.

Can someone please post pictures of the vacuum line setup on their 200?

What year and model of Carb and Distibutor do you have? As the Load-a-matic sticky goes into, it will make a difference.
Does your distibutor have a fitting for a metal vacuum line?
