Did my first vacuum check after replacing most all vacuum lines. Attached it to the trans vac line that leads to the manifold. Trying to find out why it’s bouncing so much? And is this a decent reading? I feel like it should be higher
I wouldn’t be uneasy by that needle movement. That vacuum should be fine for idle. I think idle numbers aren’t the problem, they are more used to diagnose a problem or as a tuning tool.
