Water choke on H/W 5200

How does the water choke work on a 5200? Would you recommend it?

Can the water choke be converted to a manual choke via the kits in the auto parts stores?

It can be converted over to a manual choke. You should be able to get a universal manual choke kit at any of your local parts stores. There is some moding to do, but it is fairly easy. I got my kit at Napa for $13. Here's a pic of mine on:
