Hi.
I've got a TE Cortina with a warm motor (cam, mild headwork and slightly higher compression) controlled by an Autronic ems. I am up to installing the alternator and I've got two different sized water pump pulleys (a big one from the Cortina and a smaller one from an XF) and I'm wondering what would be better for my application. The little one will spin the pump quicker, but I've read that slowing the water down so it spends longer in the radiator can work better. Any thoughts guys?
