water temp & oil senders

Is there any difference between the water temp sender in the cast iron
X-flow head and the one in the alloy head? Also i recently swapped the standard instrument panel(3 dial) in my XC fairmont over to a fairmont GXL panel (5 dial) is there anything, what do i need to get my oil pressure gauge working? do i just need a different sender or do i need to rewire the original. Thanks

Gunna,
The temp gauge will work with the temp sender fitted to both heads coz its the same.
The oil pressure gauge just needs the sender on the engine replaced to a gauge type from the switch/light type sender.
