What's the status on the valve covers?

Hey AzCoupe,

When will the valve covers be ready?

Can you give us any hint of what they will look like...... Pleeaassee???

We had one company working on them for about six months and were just about there when they came back with the final price. It was far more than the original estimate and they would have wound up costing over $250 each. So that ended that one really quick.

I now have two other companies working on them. Since we are starting from scratch again, it will take a few more weeks. The goal is to produce a high quality alloy or billet valve cover for a price comparable to or less than my competitor.

One company is working on a cover that will emulate the Edelbrock one. The other, and probably the one I will go with, is working on a totally unique design. But I don't want to reveal it at the moment as it will ruin the surprise. I'm quite sure you will all like the idea we have come up with, but we need a few more weeks. Sorry....

Hint, those with the roller rockers may be able to show them off, or if you prefer smooth or ribbed, that is a possiblity too.
