why my RF wont bolt up...can anyone help?

my RF I bought is missing a part of the linkage.

I still have the rod type accelerator linkage. The problem that the new used RF doesnt have one of those ball for the socket from the linkage to attach to. Hard to explain but its like a rocator cuff in the arm...a ball that goesinto the socket of that two inch rod.

can I get those at a parts store?
does anyone know what to do now?

I really dont want to convert to a cable clutch and I want to make this carb work for a while...

Know exactly what you are talking about Chaz.

Go to NAPA and tell them you need a throttle ball assortment kit. It's about 12 bucks and includes different size diameter ball studs that will screw onto the carburetor. The one I bought was manufactered by Holley. The part number (from Holley) is 20-2.
