1968 200ci engine. Measurement in liters?

I was just curious about this:

What would the measurement be in liters for a 1968 200ci engine? And what exactly do the liters measure?

liters measures volume. i think 1 milliliter is 1 cubic centimeter, there are 2.54 cm per inch so
so there is (2.54x2.54x2.54) = 16.4 mL per cubic inch, invert that and multiply by 1000 to get 61 cubic inches per Liter.

to test this a 302 cub. inch engine divided 61 cubic inches per liter = 4.95 Liters approximately 5.0.

a 200 would be 200/61 = 3.3 L

i think this is right.

8) one mililiter is 1/1000 of a liter. a cubic centimeter is a cube that measures 1 centimeter on each side. but the rest of what you wrote is right.
