My first dyno topic is here

this time I thought it went really smooth...

I wanted to get a better understanding in my dyno run that before... and i'm glad i did. :)
I deffinetly learn from the first time, so I made sure that my car was running at it's peak performance according to my butt-o-meter telling me... then went to the dyno, didn't have the e-brake on this time and ran some successful pulls with very great results :D
Max HP
71.89 HP gain = 3
Max TQ
143.86 TQ gain = 28
the only thing's i've changed so far were the tranny (c4 to a t5) and replaced the distributor (my old one was grinding :bang: ) but i'm very glad that I've squeezed more tq out of her before I swap the motor

Still running pertronix but now have a 40k coil

the rpm range was lower than the first because i was able to take off @ 1200 rpm.. I even tried 950rpm to see if there was something I was missing... but didn't help

I really must say that c4 was really dying on me...

If someone wants the data let me know... I can give it all to them.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting. Do you recall the initial advance setting for the dyno runs.

Sadly I don't remember it, I beleive it was around 12* and even then it pinged up hills so I would let off the gas a little... I tried advancing it but it pinged too much and pull 17 was that result (hence it missing) i'll have to bring my timing light to the next dyno.

Good power/ torque curves. Comes on good and strong early and is relatively flat until it peaks.

THANKS!!! the engine is out now and down at the engine shop, just sprucing it up alot...
