My first dyno topic is here
http://fordsix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=56291
this time I thought it went really smooth...
I wanted to get a better understanding in my dyno run that before... and i'm glad i did.
I deffinetly learn from the first time, so I made sure that my car was running at it's peak performance according to my butt-o-meter telling me... then went to the dyno, didn't have the e-brake on this time and ran some successful pulls with very great results
Max HP
71.89 HP gain = 3
Max TQ
143.86 TQ gain = 28
the only thing's i've changed so far were the tranny (c4 to a t5) and replaced the distributor (my old one was grinding
) but i'm very glad that I've squeezed more tq out of her before I swap the motor
Still running pertronix but now have a 40k coil
the rpm range was lower than the first because i was able to take off @ 1200 rpm.. I even tried 950rpm to see if there was something I was missing... but didn't help
I really must say that c4 was really dying on me...
If someone wants the data let me know... I can give it all to them.
