First I want to thank all the members that helped me find that carb rebuild kit, even when I went to get it the NAPA guy had problems billing it out, much less looking it up in the system.

I put my car on the dyno at work just to get a baseline and I thought I might post it for anyone else that is interested. It seemed to be running pretty rich, your eyes would burn if you were in my bay with it running for very long.

Since then I've switched to DS1 and rebuilt the carb. I didnt notice any difference in driveability with the DS1 but the fuel mileage went way up on the highway, the carb had the linkage for the pump on backwards and in the wrong slot, and it made a noticeable difference in driveability, hopefully my city mileage will get better too.

I haven't had time to put it on the dyno again, I have to do it after work and I usually just want to go home. I will soon and I'll post on this thread.

Also this test was right after I bought the car, and before I changed the oil. Oil had lots of fuel in it, usually brings the HC up. Had been running in the bay and was slightly hot.

Hmmmmm, we should have someone here that can help you fix the lack of speed capability.
