Gentlemen,
What is the proper way to attach my T10 4-speed to the crossmember in my '65 Falcon. The mount is a "buggy spring" that runs parallel to the drive shaft with a round rubber bushing underneath at the crossmember end. After looking at a dozen cars at a car show I have seen them bolted tight, or loose with a 1/2" gap above the bushing end. I have also seen some with a extra strap that goes under the bushing ( I don't have one). What is correct?
Thanks for your help, Hotrod Bill
